What happened to customer service? The days of yore, when you asked for a service or a product and you got what you asked for. The days when people actually gave a shit about their jobs and the effort they put into said job (Regardless of their personal feelings about the duties at hand. I must say, I am disgusted beyond reproach.

Chance of a lifetime, adrenaline pumps,
Hands shaking a little as my chest thumps,
Hang up the phone, my throat has a lump,
This is my chance to prove I’m no chump,
Creativity flows, like water in spring,
Imagination at the table is what I can bring,
Hopeful, excited, but this is no fling,
Chance of a lifetime, it’s the real thing
Put my head down, put paper to pen,
Straight to the zone, switching to zen,
Have not been this excited since I dunno when,
A project like this may come never again,
Getting it done, and doing it right,
I wont retreat to the shadows without a fight,
They may not accept, I know that’s alright,
Chance of a lifetime that I’m going to ignite.

I woke up this morning and I felt like a kid on Christmas. It is Macworld Tuesday and I had a bounce in my step. I had heard all the rumors about what was to be announced, and as usual, I ignored them all (Though I was REALLY hoping for a tablet). I figured they would release an ultra-portable unit, but I had assumed that they would do a proper job of it, after all, it’s Apple!

When comes to Microsoft products, my disdain and pure hatred for the company are well known (And echoed around the world by many users). I still have trouble understanding how such a problematic OS was able to rise to the top, and remain there for so long. What I have even more trouble understanding is how, after 7 years of development, Microsoft released a new OS that was even worse than before! Cancel or Allow?

Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails) recently helped Saul Williams release his album online without the use of a major label. The idea was fairly brilliant in that they gave away the album, but in a lower quality, then charged $5 for a higher quality download. He seemed surprised, however, when roughly 28,000 people (Out of roughly 155,000) paid for the download.

Leading up to it’s release, Leopard (Mac OS X, 10.5) was not seen as a huge upgrade like some of the previous releases, but it did contain some cool new features. While Apple touted over 300 new features, upgrades like Path Bar and the New Airport Menu are hardly features to be crowing about. While many have upgraded smooth and seamlessly, some have downgraded to 10.4 or have stuck with the issues, hoping Apple will release an update to ease their woes. So why should anybody upgrade to the new system? Good question!

Everybody has their dirty little secrets, but there is one in particular that I have found many of us share, though we refuse to admit in public (Though we sometimes let our loved ones in on the secret). I however, will say it loud and proud, I am a fan of Jagged Little Pill.

I have seen many horror movies over the years, but last night I was bored stiff while watching Rob Zombies rendition of Halloween. The movie starts off with about an hour of buildup, only to leave you disappointed (Kinda like sex when you don’t get off).

After much anticipation, I scaled the stairs into the back rows of the theater to watch Sweeny Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. Tim Burton and Johnny Depp teamed up once again to make another home run film for both of them.
